45th BMW driver training 2007 @ Nurburgring
Here is a report of my 2nd annual trip to the BMW Driver Training at the Nurburgring. This year we decided to attend the Drift Academy as well before heading to Germany, while there Mick’s car was in Thorney Motorsport for a suspension tuning. This included KW Variant 3 coilovers, front spacers and replacing all tired components. To say it transformed his car is an understatement
Day 1
Not much happening here, we headed off at 2:00pm for the ferry from Dublin to Holyhead and drove down to Milton Keynes. Just boarding the boat I realised I had not brought my passport, a frantic call to my brother back home and by the time we set sail UPS had collected my passport and would have it delivered by the next day before 12pm. Nothing much to do after arriving but to check in and head down for a Chinese meal and off to bed early. We had a fairly early start.
